Summer Activities
Summer activities at Moran's Landing include fishing, swimming, boating, and just plain relaxing.
Swamp Lake is a 300 acre spring-fed lake with Canadian-like scenery. It is a good panfish lake with nice Bluegills and Crappies. Many large Northern Pike and Largemouth Bass are also there for the challenge.
We have a small shallow sand beach located on the bay in the center of the resort. And a diving raft is located in the bay for the kid in all of us.
Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets are always viewable from the bay! Watch eagles soar overhead and listen for the call of the loons! A fish cleaning house is available for our guests, so they may enjoy the fish they have caught. Bait is also available.
A 14' Alumicraft boat is provided with a week's stay. Boats, motors, and a pontoon boat are available for rent daily or weekly. There are also paddle boats available to our guests at no cost.
Other facilities we have are horseshoe pits, tennis court, basketball court, and a playground and picnic area WITH 24'x40' pavilion. We are also located only 4 miles from the Bearskin Biking Trail.
